This team will be partnering with our global partners in the DR who rescue and restore victims of Human Trafficking and the Sex Trade. This team will be doing construction work on a ministry house and will be working alongside of local Dominican tradesman.
The roof needs replaced and potentially, our partners would like to add a 2nd level. It's a very simple 2 bedroom house with a tiny kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Our partners will be using this house to connect with pastors/ ministry leaders in the Dominican Republic and supporting churches from the United States. The team will be working with wood, cement, and cement blocks. The cement will be mixed by hand. There may be some electrical and plumbing that will need to be moved. If you have any type of general construction experience it is helpful, but not required. Physically able to work in heat and humidity for 6-8 hours per day is important.
Cost: $2100 ($300 due upon applying for this trip). The remaining $1800 is expected to be raised by 06/10/23.
